In addition to the recipes, handsome photographs for many, but not all, of the drinks will introduce you to Russian Spring Punch (created in London in the 1980s), the Horse’s Neck (originating in pre-Prohibition America), and the Chilcano (created in 1880s Peru and still the subject of a festival week there today).
