by General Mills, Inc.

General Mills, Inc., 1956. Staplebound pamphlet. Very Good.

Those of us who grew up with Bisquick in the house probably only experienced the baking blend as pancakes or biscuits. The good folks at General Mills, however, know that Bisquick can achieve so much more!

Realize your cooking potential with:

  • A rich and tasty chicken pot pie with a Bisquick crust (curiously the filling will be found on p. 5, the assembly in a separate recipe on p. 6, and the dough on p. 3)
  • A “Mexican” casserole of ground beef, onions, chili powder, and canned tomato soup, topped with a Bisquick cornbread
  • Homemade corn dogs for a festive party treat
  • Zhuzhed up waffles—either made as Welsh rabbit with sliced tomato, cheese sauce, and bacon or as a “supper royal” sandwich of creamed chicken and cranberry sauce

Ours is a solid Very Good, save for small dogear to the cover. 5.25” x 7.25”, 26 pages. Two color printing and color illustrations.
