by W. T. Grant Co.

W. T. Grant Co., ND. Staplebound pamphlet. Very Good.

Grants general store chain operated in the US from 1906–1976, during which time they produced a line of store brand appliances. One of their products was an all purpose cooker, promising feats previously accomplished only by a slew of pots, pans, and other kitchen implements.

Cooking baked beans, chili, rice, spaghetti, pot roast, and mashed potatoes—or frying pork chops, croquettes, and donuts—is a cinch with the electric fryer/cooker’s internal temperature control.

Sounds ideal for a tiny NYC studio or college dorm room. Too bad the company folded and stopped producing housewares—although we spot some floating around on Ebay. For now, however, the recipe booklet that once accompanied the appliance has us dreaming of the luxurious convenience we are missing out on.

Very Good with one page of minor liquid damage. Otherwise as new. 5.25” x 8.5”, 14 pages.
