Acheson, an expat Canadian who has made his name with restaurants in Atlanta and Athens, Georgia, is determined to help Americans engage with a much wider range of fruits and vegetables than those commonly found in supermarket produce aisles. Inspired by a neighbor looking for ideas on what to do with the contents of an overstuffed CSA box, Acheson offers an array of practical, flavorful recipes for more than fifty types of produce, seasonally arranged. They're also fresh enough that you won't feel you've already seen them over and over again: persimmons with grilled pork belly and spicy soy vinaigrette; sautéed sweet potato greens; gnocchi with braised lamb, butternut squash, and tomato confit; roasted beet soup with hard-boiled egg and celery cream.

Hardcover. Color photographs throughout.
