This small-run, spiral-bound zine is the successor to an earlier volume which looked at rural queer living, particularly for people somehow involved in growing or making food. This volume expands its scope by including artists as well.

At 96 pages, it’s slightly longer than its predecessor and offers recipes, essays, original artwork and photography, poetry, and other forms of exploration.

Contributors are drawn from all over the US, as well as Australia, Canada, and Germany. They explore seed saving, working with ceramics, Indigenous peoples’ perspective on reusing resources, the history of Bloodroot restaurant, replacing exotic vanilla with homegrown sweet woodruff, creating a spring celebration holiday, eating peaches, insights gained from lichens, and more.

The publisher's proceeds benefit a farm fund for queer/trans kids in New Mexico.
