We printed just 100 copies of this deluxe tote bag, featuring art from London-based Ellie Edwards and a reproduction of a page of strawberry recipes from The Boston Cooking School Cookbook, fondly known by many as The Fannie Farmer Cookbook.
Most of Edwards' art is printed in linocut, but we've used a screenprinting technique that renders the colors more emphatically. The strawberries are printed atop text, just as they are in Edwards' own book prints. The opposite side of the bag bears with Kitchen Arts & Letters logo.
The bag is made of heavy, 100% post-consumer brushed cotton—it's the same bag used for the New Yorker magazine bags seen all over the city. It's 15” wide x 15” high x 5” deep. The sturdy handles are made from the same material and feel very comfortable in the hand.
