Von Diaz, author of the brilliantly researched cookbook Islas, will talk with Chef Annette Tomei about the ingredients and cooking methods that link places like Puerto Rico and Curacao, Madagascar and the Seychelles, Guam and Vanuatu.

It's an amazing way to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage month with food from Essex Market vendors and the chance to meet Von Diaz and get your copy of Islas signed by the renowned author.

If you purchase Admission with a copy of Islas, you will receive your book at the Essex Market the evening of September 19.  

You will not receive a physical ticket for this event. Your name will be on a list when you check in at the Essex Market Kitchen Mezzanine that evening.
