Meet Angie and Scott as they speak with culinary instructor and historian Annette Tomei in Essex Market's sleek teaching kitchen. They'll talk about where Italian American food came from—including its roots in nearby Little Italy—how it became so popular throughout the United States, and what lies ahead for this versatile, humble cuisine.

You'll see demonstrations of simple, doable home recipes—and get to sample them too!
